For Cosabella, quality is an engineering discipline that leaves nothing to chance: it is controlled at every stage, from design and extrusion to surface treatment and final installation, and certified by independent international organizations. The architectural aluminium systems we develop are manufactured to provide outstanding resistance to extreme climatic conditions, high wind loads, and intensive mechanical use.
International Standards, Testing and Quality Certifications
Cosabella systems and production processes comply with the official certification requirements of global construction and architectural standards:
- Qualicoat-Certified Surface Treatment: Surface coatings applied in our electrostatic powder coating facilities comply with the standards established by Switzerland-based Qualicoat. Aluminium profiles are protected against UV radiation, corrosion, color fading, and mechanical scratching in accordance with international quality requirements.
- ISO Management and Quality Standards: Our production and management processes are monitored and managed within an integrated framework in accordance with ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) standards.
- Independent Laboratory Class Test Performance: Our sliding, hinged door, and window systems have been tested and certified at accredited test centers in accordance with European standards for air permeability (Class 3 / Class 4), watertightness (Class 6A / Class 7A / Class 9A), and wind load resistance (from C1 to C5).
- CE and European Union Conformity Marking: All profiles and complementary components are supplied in accordance with applicable CE requirements, demonstrating conformity with building safety, mechanical strength, and environmental regulations.
Our Laboratory and Process Control Standards
At Cosabella's integrated facilities, quality is assured through a rigorous four-stage inspection cycle:
- Spectral Raw Material Analysis: The chemical alloy composition and material purity of primary aluminium billets entering the facility are analyzed using spectrometers before being released to the extrusion line.
- Dimensional and Geometric Tolerance Control: Every profile leaving the die is inspected using optical measuring equipment and precision calipers to verify wall thickness and corner geometry against specified tolerances.
- Surface Coating Durability Tests: Coated profiles undergo chromating bath controls, impact resistance tests, flexibility and cross-cut adhesion tests, and salt spray corrosion testing to verify compliance with Qualicoat requirements.
- Mechanical and Functional System Tests: Rollers, hinges, gaskets, and locking mechanisms undergo thousands of opening and closing cycles to test reliable operating performance under heavy loads.
Integrated Quality Assurance
Managing every process in-house, from design and extrusion to surface treatment and accessories, Cosabella provides the measurable reliability required by architectural projects through international certifications and uncompromising production discipline.
Cosabella continues to maintain uncompromising quality standards across all systems developed for the architecture of the future.
